Security Doors Built to Hold the Line

Security Doors Built to Hold the Line

Hotfoil-EHS of Hamilton, NJ is now heavily invested in manufacturing security doors for prisons, jails and other correctional facilities. Every door is custom-built, whether you need to replace an existing door or outfit new construction.

These are not run-of-the-mill doors, and you will not find them at the local hardware store. Each one is purpose-built to keep people in, and to keep up with the demands of a detention environment.

Built Heavy, Built to Last

Strength starts with the steel. Our standard security door is:

  • 11-gauge insulated door: a solid, insulated slab, not a hollow shell
  • 10-gauge frame: a heavier frame to match the door it carries
  • Fully customized: sized and configured to replace your existing doors or to suit new construction

The doors shown here carry the hardware detainees and staff actually encounter: security vision panels, heavy-duty latches, stainless steel handles, lock plates, pass-through slots and stainless kick plates. In short, they are built to withstand anyone who tries to get through them.

Security Doors Built to Hold the Line

Proven in the Field

At a New York Police Department, a standard painted door was replaced with a Hotfoil-EHS security door fitted with a vision panel and heavy-duty latching. The difference is clear at a glance.

Custom fabrication also means a replacement door can be fitted into an existing cell front, so you upgrade security without rebuilding the entire space.

Made to Fit Your Facility

No two facilities are alike. These installations show a range of door styles and finishes, from barred cell fronts to solid doors with security glazing.
